Mismatch
Years ago, she was the unhappy one. I dropped out of school and wasn’t in the mood because of the stress. In response, she suggested an open relationship, or stormed out to the bathroom with a vibrator, stopped taking contraceptives because what for, or threatened that she would leave me, mix and match.
Today, I’m expected to bear the opposite silently and never expect anything. If I dare to try to initiate something, I’m quickly turned down or told I seek physical contact only when I want sex. It’s not double standards as either way she’s the victim here.
